The worker holds employee status and is covered under the Quebec Labour Standards Act (LNT). They are selected to perform various tasks related to both daily living and domestic activities.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the labour standards:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cYou are legally considered a salaried worker. The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) recognizes all CES workers as employees and considers them covered by the Labour Standards Act (LNT). This law guarantees, among other things, the right to minimum wage, limits on working hours, leave (including parental leave), and protection from unjust dismissal\u201d.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca\/fr\/document\/lc\/n-1.1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Learn more<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our referral list includes personal support workers, family and social aides, and other qualified individuals able to offer home support.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How to Join Oxili\u2019s Referral List?\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oxili is always seeking individuals with diverse skills to provide home assistance and support services for daily living and domestic tasks.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To join the referral list, follow these two steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Send your up-to-date r\u00e9sum\u00e9 (CV) to: <a href=\"mailto:info@oxili.net\">info@oxili.net<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In your email, indicate which areas of the island of Montreal you&#8217;re available to work in. Note that assignments may require a minimum 90-minute work block.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> You must have the legal right to work in Canada to join the referral list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you&#8217;re interested in a specific service request, please go to the homepage under <em>Current Service Requests<\/em> and follow the instructions to express your interest.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Hourly Rate and Eligibility<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, the hourly rate is <strong>$21<\/strong>, the minimum set by the Quebec government for CES workers in Montreal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Refer a Worker to Oxili<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do you know someone qualified to join Oxili\u2019s referral list? Oxili\u2019s referral list involves <strong>six steps<\/strong> to ensure candidates can offer quality services to home support service users through the CES program.<br interview<\/li>\n<li>Submission of required documents (see step 5)<\/li>\n<li>Application file analysis:\n<ul>\n<li>Updated CV<\/li>\n<li>Diplomas\/certificates relevant to the job<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keep your availability and contact information up to date via the platform or by contacting Oxili coordination directly.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Notify Oxili of any changes to your criminal background file.<\/li>\n<li>Keep academic and professional certifications up to date (e.g., PDSP, CPR, Law 90).<\/li>\n<li>Respond to self-manager or caregiver\u2019s calls within 48 hours\u2014even if declining.<\/li>\n<li>Be punctual for home interviews.<\/li>\n<li>Be reliable, empathetic, and polite in all situations.<\/li>\n<li>Accept CES wage rates and minimum 90-minute work blocks.<\/li>\n<li>Sign a work contract with the self-manager or caregiver.<\/li>\n<li>Notify the self-manager or caregiver promptly of lateness or absence.<\/li>\n<li>Agree in advance on leaves, vacations, and holidays.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Respect scheduled hours, duties, and CLSC intervention plans (as part of your work your phone during shifts and refrain from smoking inside the home.<\/li>\n<li>Report any observations (positive or negative) to Oxili coordination.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refrain from bringing third parties to work locations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Alert Oxili if you experience discrimination, harassment, or intimidation from a self-manager or
